Tokens are a small part of the table with plenty of room for personality. This project brings together three custom token designs for Magic: The Gathering: Kraken, Clue and Myr.

Let the artwork lead

The three cards each use a different visual atmosphere. Kraken fills the card with curling tentacles, Clue centres on glowing symbols, and Myr puts a mechanical figure against warm, luminous lines. Their names become part of the composition rather than sitting inside a heavy frame.

The Myr's 1/1 value stays visible in the lower corner. It is a simple example of the balance a token needs: an image that stands out and information that remains easy to locate.

A collection with room for contrast

The cards share an approach without sharing the same colour or character. Large artwork, prominent names and minimal framing connect the designs while leaving each subject its own space.

That is the design focus of this project: making a small supporting card feel considered, with a clear identity of its own.
